5TH ANNUAL

ARBOR DAY GIVEAWAY

Growing Community, One Tree at a Time

Each year, American Arborist celebrates Arbor Day by giving back through the gift of trees and tree care. It’s our way of supporting the people and places that make our community strong—and planting seeds for an even better tomorrow.

This Arbor Day, we’re honored to serve in three meaningful ways:

Group of ten people standing outdoors in front of a large American Arborist truck, with the logo and contact number visible. The photo is framed by a circular badge with the text 'Nurturing Our Neighborhoods' at the top and 'American Arborist' at the bottom.

free tree service FOR THOSE IN NEED

Someone who could use a hand with their tree care, and whose story deserves support.

Circular logo with a green outer ring and a photo of a school building with trees in the center. The text says 'Deep Eepening Our Roots' around the upper edge and 'American Arborist' at the bottom. The logo also features the 'Skutt Catholic' school name in black.

free tree service FOR SKUTT FAMILY

As proud Skutt Catholic High School alumni, we’re giving back to the school community that helped shape us. We’ll be providing a free tree service to a Skutt family, reinforcing the deep roots and lasting relationships we continue to grow with the school.

Two people planting a young tree together outdoors, each holding opposite sides of the tree with soil and roots visible, symbolizing planting and growth, with the text "Planting It Forward" and "American Arborist" on a green circular badge.

free tree planting

We’re planting a free tree for a local organization in need—one that’s doing important work in our community. A tree is a gift that grows with time, offering shade, beauty, and a symbol of lasting impact.

Trees connect us, grow with us and remind us that the best things in life take time, care, and strong roots.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back—one tree at a time.

2024 ARBOR DAY GIVEAWAY

Sami Ketelsen family

Group of people standing in front of a large American Arborist Tree Service truck, outdoors in a neighborhood, overcast sky.

We had the honor of helping out the Ketelsen family for our annual Arbor Day Giveaway.

On January 5th, 2024, vibrant 14-year-old, Sami Ketelsen, received the challenging news of a cancerous lesion on her hip. Her parents Melissa and Justin are tirelessly working towards the right diagnosis and treatment plan. On Monday March 18th, Sami had surgery to remove the primary tumor. Because of its placement on her pelvis it will required removal of her right pelvis, hip joint and leg. As the oncologist said, “This is a major part of her cure. We still need chemo to work. Chemo will continue for months after surgery. But without the surgery there would be no cure. "

Thanks to Jeremy Moore and Skutt Catholic High School for nominating the family. We wish Sami and her family all the best.
