GROUNDSMAN

About the Role
As a Groundsman, you will play a vital role in our tree care operation, assisting our arborists with a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to) tree removal, pruning, plant healthcare, stump grinding and debris disposal.
Some job duties include dragging brush, feeding wood chippers and assisting tree climbers and bucket truck operators.
Other responsibilities:
Keeping job sites clean and safe
Maintaining equipment and tools
Driving company trucks to & from job sites
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check
Reliable personal transportation
Strong work ethic and ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
PREFERRED BUT NOT RequireD
Experience in the forestry or tree care industries
Class Drivers License (Class B w/ airbrakes or Class A)
Education background in Forestry, Arboriculture or other Biology related field
Experience operating large equipment such as grapple trucks, skid steers, etc.
Experience with small engine equipment such as chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, etc.
