Indian Creek Golf Course: American Arborist’s Storm Cleanup Efforts

On July 31, 2023, a powerful straight-line windstorm tore through Omaha, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Among the hardest-hit areas was Indian Creek Golf Course, home to the Pinnacle Bank Championship. The storm uprooted trees, scattered debris, and created hazardous conditions that threatened both the beauty and safety of the course. With the tournament fast approaching, Indian Creek needed urgent and expert tree care to restore its landscape.

That’s where we stepped in. Our team quickly assessed the damage and implemented a comprehensive cleanup plan. We worked tirelessly to remove fallen trees, clear hazardous limbs, and stabilize damaged trees to ensure the course remained safe and playable. Our goal was not just cleanup but also preservation—retaining as much of the existing tree canopy as possible while making strategic decisions for long-term health and aesthetics.

The result? A restored, tournament-ready golf course that welcomed players and spectators with open fairways and well-maintained greens. Beyond the initial recovery, our partnership with Indian Creek Golf Course continues today. We provide ongoing tree management services, ensuring the course remains a lush, safe, and thriving environment for golfers and visitors alike.
